All Husky products use compressor technology, therefore there is an amount of noise associated with our products. This fluctuates dependent upon the model and whether the intended use of the unit is for domestic or commercial use. All products are professionally db rated and results available upon request. We also supply a range of “homebars” where units have been specifically designed to keep noise down to a minimum.

This depends on the climate class of your unit, shown on the rating plate and in the user manual. Each unit is designed to operate within a set ambient temperature range. In an unheated garage or outbuilding the temperature can fall below this range in winter, which stops the thermostat working correctly, and rise above it in summer, which makes the unit work harder.

All Husky units have replaceable pull out /push in door gaskets without the use of an engineer

We recommend plugging your fridge directly into a dedicated wall socket. If an extension lead is unavoidable, use a suitably rated single-socket lead, fully unwound. Never use multi-way adaptors or daisy-chained extension leads. Switch off the unit at the mains when not in use.

Drinks chillers and back bar coolers are designed for pre-packaged bottles and cans, not open or fresh food. If you need to store fresh or dairy produce, choose a unit which meets the relevant food safe standards, such as our PRO and ECO upright commercial fridges and freezers.

Standard Husky units are designed for indoor use only and must be kept away from rain, direct sunlight and extremes of temperature. Our Alfresco range is specifically designed for outdoor use and tested to IPX4 standard, with features such as heated glass doors to cope with outdoor conditions.
