Is it normal for water to drip from the back panel inside the unit
Yes, dependent on the model. In some models the evaporator plate is situated at the back of the unit which in times of high temperatures and humidity may show signs of dripping. This dripping water is collected in a tray at the bottom of the unit and through self evaporation clears the water without any action being needed by the customer
Is my fridge energy efficient

My fridge has just been delivered. How long should I wait before switching it on?
If the unit was transported upright, wait at least 1 hour before switching on. If it was laid down at any point during transport or delivery, stand it upright and leave it for at least 4 hours (24 hours if you are unsure) so the compressor oil can settle. Switching on too soon can damage the compressor.
My fridge is making clicking, gurgling or bubbling noises. Is this normal?
Yes. Gurgling and bubbling is refrigerant moving around the system, and clicking is the thermostat switching the compressor on and off. These are all normal. A loud rattle or buzz usually means the unit is touching a wall or another object, or something on top is vibrating; a small repositioning normally solves it.
My fridge is not cooling properly. What should I check first?
Before calling for service, check the following: the unit is plugged in and the socket is working; the thermostat is set correctly; the condenser is free of dust; there is enough ventilation space around the unit; the door is closing and sealing properly; the unit is not overloaded or blocking internal air vents; and the unit is away from direct sunlight or heat sources. If none of these resolves it, contact your point of purchase or local distributor.
My fridge seems to run constantly. Is that normal?
In hot weather, after loading warm stock, or where the door is opened frequently, it is normal for the unit to run for long periods. If it never cycles off, check the thermostat is set correctly, the door gasket is sealing and the condenser is clean. Some commercial units are designed to run for long periods under heavy use.
The controller is showing an error code. What does it mean?
Error codes vary by model and controller. Check the user manual supplied with your unit for details. If you cannot resolve it, contact your local engineer with your model and serial number to hand.
The sides and top of my fridge are warm, is this normal ?
Yes, In some models the condensor is positioned inside the unit frame hence these areas are warm (not hot) to the touch.
There has been a power cut. What should I do?
Keep the door closed as much as possible; a fridge will hold a safe temperature for around 4 hours and a full freezer for up to 24 to 48 hours. The unit will restart automatically when power returns. Check contents afterwards and do not refreeze food that has fully thawed.
Water is leaking onto the floor. What should I do?
Check the unit is level, then check the drain hole inside the unit is not blocked by food or debris; clear it gently with warm water. Also check the evaporation tray at the back of the unit is sitting correctly in place. If the leak continues, contact your local engineer.
